James has been having trouble taking naps today. Hes become a tummy sleeper and we thought this was helping, but it took a long time to get him to go to sleep last night and then when he woke up, it took even longer. Same thing for naps today, he just doesn't want to go to sleep. He has a daytime routine and he responds to it well, but he just hasn't wanted to nap today. Needless to say, we have a tired mommy and daddy today.
Despite the no sleep, we love this little guy so much. He seems to love watching Sesame Street with us and love playing with us. We love hearing his laughs (which are more like a squeal than anything) and we love watching him grow. Hes learning to sit up on his own and is working on standing up on his own with our help. We love being parents and consider it such a joy to be his parents. Hence, the name of this blog. For now, I'm signing off, but I promise as soon as Will uploads the videos, we'll have some posted on here...of squealing, eating, etc.
